समतेच्या झगड्यात वरच्यास खाली लोटण्याऐवजी खालच्यास वर ओढणे हाच प्रगतीचा मार्ग विशेष श्रेयस्कर आहे.

धर्माची तपासणी करता आली पाहिजे

प्रत्येकाला धर्माची परीक्षा करून त्याची तपासणी करता आली पाहिजे. बाजारात सराफाच्या दुकानात आपण सोन्याचा दागिना खरेदीसाठी जातो. तेव्हा तुम्ही काय करता? तुम्ही हे पाहता की, हे सोने खरे आहे की खोटे? हे समजण्यासाठी कसोटीवर त्या दागिन्याला कस लावून पाहण्यात येतो. तसेच धर्माला कस लावून त्याची परीक्षा पाहिली पाहिजे. धर्मतत्त्वांची छाननी करून, सिद्धांत आणि आचार पडताळून आपण पाहूया की कोणता धर्म माणसाला सुखसमाधान देऊ शकेल?

Advice on Economic Inequalities

"The attention of the Anti- Untouchability League and workers in the same cause should be directed more to the economic, educational and social improvement of the untouchables rather than to temple entry and inter-dining. Public opinion should be mobilised by them to throw open wells and to admit Untouchable children to Public Schools."
